Principal Contractor for MBRC responsible for the design, supply and build of site amenities building.
The objective of this project was to provide a new asset to Council which complied to Australian building standards and the WHS Act.The project is located within the Bunya Waste Management Facility and was to be constructed without impacting the daily operation of the facility or local community users which operated 7 days per week.
AE Groups’ proposal recommended the utilisation of a relocatable building solution which would allow the simple movement of the structure when required as the waste facility footprint expanded in the future.
Through considered project and construction management planning, AE Group implemented the successful delivery of the Amenities Building to Council whilst maintaining a very high level of safety and environmental standards and minimised any disruption to normal services.
Key Deliverables
- Design, document, supply and construct a new 9m x 6m
relocatable staff amenities building with a PWD toilet,
compliant with AS1428, including connection of services
and utilities - Upgrade and renew power and comms data
- No loss time injuries
- Replace existing sewer treatment facilities and Connections
- Construct facility compliant to ISO accreditation
