Round Mountain Reservoir

AE Group Civil & Mining were selected by the Logan Water Alliance to undertake the first stage of earthworks at the Round Mountain Reservoir site as part of an overall program to deliver $300 million worth of works to the water infrastructure of Logan City.

The Round Mountain Reservoir project will supply fresh water to the growth areas of New Beith. The work under the subcontract consisted of bulk earthworks to the reservoir complex, new access roads, shaping of batters, crushing and stockpiling of excavated materials for re-use, pavement and drainage works.

A significant level of environmental and cultural heritage monitoring was undertaken throughout the course of the project to the satisfaction of the client.
